I typically will only leave positive reviews however my entire experience was so bad I will not be going back. Have had 6 positive experiences before ...today with other people cutting my hair but half of my beard is missing, the phot shown was not followed, the hot towel was so hot that it burned me each time. I left with razor burn, disappointment in my haircut and beard. I always make it a point to be courteous and polite and tip generously. I was so stunned at my haircut that I still tipped and didn’t complain until I went home saw it and called back. So sad :( Show more

I could not find anyone to cut my hair on a Saturday in Shoreline. Then, I found Uplake Barbershop online, and I thought I would give them a try. BEST... HAIRCUT EVER!!!!! Worth the 10-minute drive from Shoreline for Sure!! Nancy was unbelievable. Friendly, professional, and has a talent for technical skills that provided results I have never received before. Mind-blowing, for sure. I feel like a new person. I am so glad I found Nancy. Everyone at this business was so friendly. I will be back for sure!!! Show more

I have a pesky cowlick that has troubled me and my various barbers for fifty years. Upon my first visit to Uplake Barbershop, NANCY implemented a stro...ke of genius that tamed my cowlick in a way no other barber has before, and with more success. I cannot understate this. My cowlick is the Gordian Knot of Barbering, but Nancy is apparently Alexander the Great. You think you've had great barbers? I don't doubt you. I have, too, some wonderful barbers. But was your barber merely wonderful? Or a genius? Is your barber a master with the straight razor? Does your barber leave lots of itchy hairs down your collar, or put extra effort to vacuum and dust that stuff of properly so you don't have to go home and shower after? Look, I LOVE my previous barber and have always been 1000% satisfied with his work, and when I moved to another city I was sad to part with him, I still consider him a friend, and he gave wonderful cuts, better than most. It is hard to find a new barber. But Nancy truly is on another level. Finding Uplake Barbershop has quickly softened the blow and I'm glad they opened just in time for my move to Kenmore. Show more
