I went to get a haircut with a hot towel which was $80. My appointment was at 12 noon but I got there at 11:40 AM. The haircut was great but She was 1... hour late and even tho I paid a $40 deposit towards the haircut she proceeded to charge me $70 more instead of the remaining $40 so I paid $110 for a haircut. Crazy work. She’s great with the clippers but I won’t be going back due to the lateness and me paying $110 for a haircut. Even tho the haircut was $80 in all, the fact that she proceeded to hop on Booksy and charge my card $70 instead of the remaining $40 I owed her is insane and shady AF. Shout out to the other barbers that were there. They were trying their best to cover for her. They were even willing to cut my hair in her place. Update: She apologized and gave me my $40 deposit back so I greatly appreciate her for doing that and I wasn’t able to get the hot towel treatment cause I had to leave in a hurry but, she still offered me the hot towel treatment for free if I would come back and get a haircut from her again. I am satisfied with the outcome of this episode and I will continue to keep her as my option as a barber. Thank you Juice. Show more

Hi, I do apologize! As I mentioned in shop BOOKSY didn’t notify me of your appointment and also double charged your deposit as it's shown in screen shot that the $40 was a separate charge from the complete $70. I wasn’t aware and I’m not sure why the app isn’t working correctly at the moment but I refunded it as soon as it came to my attention. My offer still stands for a free Hot Towel service due to me being late because I wasn’t notified. Again I appreciate your service and love that you like the outcome of the cut itself and I apologize again!
