My son has never had hair cut fully by an actual barber. His anxiety around getting a haircut is through the roof. It was such a traumatic experience ...for both my husband and I when it came to haircut times. It was so bad that we cannot take the extreme discomfort he is end he cried and fought uncontrollably. We had to start to cut his hair while he was sleeping in the hopes he would not wake up until it was over. It was not always successful. I have been wanting to take my son to Ron for quite some time and I finally just took the chance. Alston was extremely hesitant at first. Ron gave him the clippers and allowed him to feel that it wasn't going to hurt him. He was fine at first but when the cut started he cried and fought. Ron was extremely patient and ultimately he was able to achieve a successful haircut and for the very first time a line up. He actually did not fight or cry when getting the line up lol. We will definitely be back without a doubt. I really thanks so much for your patience. Show more

I traveled over an hour to bring my son to see Ronald for his first ever haircut. From the moment we walked in, Ronald was patient, calm, and complete...ly tuned in to my son’s comfort. He never rushed us & let my son move at his own pace throughout the barber shop; meeting my son wherever he wanted to sit or stand to get his hair cut.
