Overall, this was such a relaxing experience I am planning to go back. That being said, I was mildly disappointed. I am a plus-size girl, and the wrap...s/robe that they provide are not size inclusive. I was forced to leave my shirt on which I could tell flustered the person tending to me. Because I had to leave my shirt on, I feel like I didn't get the full utilization of the experience. I also walked out with the back of my shirt wet, which wasn't very pleasant. Overall, my experience was mostly a positive one. I would recommend that the bigger people going should wear a tank top so you do not go through the experience I went through. Show more

I went today for the first time at a head spa. I’ve heard of this location from social media. Booking online was easy as they have a flexible schedule..., but I had questions that couldn’t be answered since they don’t have a website. I wasn’t sure what I needed to wear, if I needed to wash my hair, what to expect, etc. I suggest wearing yoga shorts or comfy shorts above the knees as they ask you to wear a gray strapless robe dress, and I was wearing leggings. Next, I read that it’s best to not wash your hair 48 hours prior to your appt. I was greeted by a nice gentlemen who did the scalp analysis at the beginning to show you how gross your hair looks prior to the head spa. Then, Cristina took me to the back and showed me where to change. I kept my bra on and just put down my straps. I did the signature head spa with the hand & foot massage. Honestly, I was not a fan of the foot soak. The water was lukewarm and I’m not sure if it was supposed to be like that but I wish it was warmer. Then, your hands are put into gloves with lotion. I was then taken to the table to do the hair treatment along with a hand, foot, neck, and shoulder massage. I was almost falling asleep. It was very relaxing. The room was very cold as I am a cold person, so having my shoulders and neck exposed I was a bit tense, and Cristina was trying to get my hands to relax while trying to massage them. I felt bad I was trying my best to relax. It’s hard to stay relaxed when the room is cold. They drape you with a fuzzy blanket, but since they are working on your neck and shoulders, that part has to be exposed and the water temperature that was touching my hair would fluctuate so it would be cold sometimes and I would get chills throughout my whole body. The whole service was said to take about an hour and 45 minutes, and it felt like 3 hours. Once the service is over, I got dressed and headed to the front where my hair was blow dried (not styled). I didn’t mind them not styling my hair because my hair is curly, and I style it a certain way. After my hair was dried, the gentlemen did the scalp analysis again to show the after results and my scalp looked much better. He thought I was speaking in monotone but I was just so sleepy from being so relaxed we were joking about it. My hair also does feel much softer and cleaner. He was the only one at the front taking care of people coming in, drying hair, and doing scalp analysis so people had to wait and watch with you. It was a bit awkward and quiet honestly, but I enjoy the small businesses because those are the places that really care about clients and put in work. He didn’t seem to rush even when he saw that people were waiting, and no one seemed to mind the wait. I didn’t mind as I knew I would be spending a few hours there anyways and had nothing else planned for the day. Tip is also not included in grand total. Overall, the experience was amazing for my first time. The prices are very good for everything they include in the service. I feel like it was luxurious for $210 plus tip. I really enjoyed how Cristina was very nice, guided me through the process as this was my first time at a spa like this, asked me if she was being too rough on my scalp which she wasn’t at all, and took her time to massage every part of my muscles. I got into a car accident exactly a year ago, and my doctors recommended me to see a massage therapist or at least get massages to help with the tenseness and strain. Cristina really got those parts of my neck and shoulders that were tense, and I feel so much better. I will be coming back and requesting for her. I am knocking off 1 star because I wish they had a website like other spas for FAQs for new clients, the soak for the feet was lukewarm and felt awkward, and I wish the room was not so freezing cold as it makes your muscles tense up and feel less relaxed.
