Microlocs—particularly those in early or non-mature stages and those with varying loc sizes—can respond unpredictably to washing and retightening depending on hair texture, density, and locking progress. As discussed during your appointment, unraveling, bunching, or looseness can occur when uniformity and maturity are still developing.
While I always apply proper technique, not every method is suitable for every hair type or stage of the loc journey. I’m sorry this service did not meet your expectations, and I do hope you’re able to find corrective care that best supports your hair moving forward.
