This method will allow your dreads to bud smoothly, band be free from frizz. I will ask you how you will like the size and parting to be, via rectangular, rounded, small medium or large. Proper maintenance includes: Your 2nd session should be booked 3 to 4 weeks after your first session to ensure proper formation as your journey begins No water contact; water causes the dreads to loosen, therefore it’ll be difficult to allow your dreads to form. Cover them at night: make sure your hair is covered when you sleep to keep your dreads in tact.

Well this turned weird…. I told Kim I may be 5-8 mins later since I was not able to reschedule. I reached out two days before and didn’t get a reply ...until the cut off time to reschedule was too late which was the following day when she replied. Kim told me she couldn’t push my appointment back any more which I completely understood so I said no worries I’ll be there on time. I then got an email my appt was cancelled at the same time I’m noticing my texts also not going through. Apparently, stylist blocked me. I know you’re not obligated to talk to me and you can pick and choose your customers however I don’t understand the meaning of this. I was agreeing to come on time . I’ve been nothing but respectful to you. I apologize for the draining appt with my daughter last time, but you also never said anything about it and allowed me to proceed to believe I was getting my hair done today. My daughter is special needs I apologized several times and left at the end of appt time and still paid you even with my daughters hair being undone because I understood. It’s really unkind to block people for no reason. I didn’t do anything to you to cause this behavior. It’s fine hun I can do my own hair that’s no problem but It hurts to see people behave this way because I am kind and polite to everyone and don’t feel like I deserved to be ghosted or treated this way because I told you I may be 5-8 mins late as a first time client at that as well and the fact you cancelled my appt before even getting my response telling you I would figure things out. Typically stylist allow up 10 mins before cancelling. However , I understood and replied I would be there on time but couldn’t get the message through before being blocked. Very shocking experience. I’m pregnant and this was really upsetting because I waited for this appt and cancelled plans to attend a very special event for my daughter whom I told you has a sponsorship with Spotify just to not cancel the appointment as I found out afterwards that they both fell on the same day. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills go a long way in people serving industries ESPECIALLY for clients who are not actually being difficult. Then just read in your comment section that you stated yourself you have a 15 min grace period. Or is it that YOU get a 15 min grace period , but your brand new PAYING client doesn’t that same grace? A policy is a policy and doesn’t change client to client. . I don’t know what you’re going through, but I hope it gets sorted out because there is no reason for this treatment and almost feels personal. Which is even more absurd because I don’t know you from a can of paint. This was very unkind and hurtful. Doesn’t matter if you have the right to do it or not. I had to cancel due to many inconsistencies: you did not notify me about lateness til this morning. Everything about your appointment was already provided for you. Also It has already been too many inconsistencies prior to today. Biggest issue was when you told me you couldn’t pay on your sabbath day due to the religion that you practice, still helped you and still couldn't finish the service. The back and forth is too much, but I do wish you and your daughters the very best!
