My consultation turned into a wash and retwist. I had my starter locs done by another loctician and over the last 7 weeks or so I haven’t felt confide...nt in my journey because that loctician wasn’t really giving me the guidance I needed to manage my scalp being overwhelmingly irritated. My questions would go unanswered for days. When I finally sat in her chair for my first retwist it was just a bad vibe all around and I left feeling like I was a burden for asking for help. Not only that, my hair was super hard and it was just continuing to lower my confidence in this journey. I reached out to Nae and she responded right away. She took one look at my hair and scalp noticing how dry and irritated my scalp was and how my locs really weren’t looking and feeling the way they should after just having had a retwist the week prior with the other loctician. She gave me a thorough wash, moisturized my hair, steam treatment, retwist, and even repaired some of my locs. she spent hours with me to ensure I left her salon with instructions, recommended products, and a plan for the next few weeks. I can’t recommend her enough! I woke up this morning feeling so much more confident about not giving up! Show more
