I was fortunate to get a same day evening appointment by Jonesy. It’s a local west Philly shop with professional and friendly staff. The pricing is ...reasonable compared to the competition in the area. This was my first visit to the shop; he provided a straightforward consultation and followed my directions. I’ve never been satisfied on a first visit to any barbershop and he met all my expectations. It’s good to see a brotha who enjoys his trade and takes pride in his work. Show more

These 5 star reviews are fake. This was one of the worst looking haircuts I’ve ever had and THE ROUGHEST haircut I’ve ever had. First of all Eric is ...EXTREMELY rough while manipulating your head throughout the cut and also presses too hard with the clippers. Throughout the cut my head was twisted so much my neck hurt. When doing the fade he was moving the clippers too fast and applying too much pressure. When he finished the cut and handed me the mirror my hairline was not straight, I was in shock that he actually gave me the mirror to look at it. I immediately asked for enhancements to help cover up the bad work because I knew he would push my shit way back if I asked him to straighten it. It’s crazy because I only came here because my barber is on vacation. I had been debating wolfing until the end of the month or getting a cut and chose this place based on the reviews. I honestly wish I had just wolfed and wore hats until the end of the month! Show more
