My son and I arrived at 12pm for our 12:15pm and 12:45pm appts and was greeted by a member of the staff at the front and I explained what we were here... for and what time our appointment was. I was told to sit at the bench directly to my left and she will be right with us. We continued to wait for almost 30 minutes until I finally got up and said something and they directed us to talk with her.I met Madeline after walking to the back and advise that we were here at 12 o’clock and no one had come to notify us or anything. She states that she thought it was supposed to be a female inside of a barbershop getting a haircut I felt she should have looked around and asked at the very least especially since it was our first time there which she would have not known but still. To add to it there was a person there already getting their hair cut at 12:45 at this point and we had to wait another 10 minutes and was told we needed to go “sit back down” so she can take pictures of her client because she doesn’t like people watching her take pictures. Finally at 1:00 pm we got our haircut. Haircuts were ok. I think had we been told or at least she would’ve searched around during the hour that we were there before we got our haircuts then the service would’ve been better. To take someone before us and not wonder where the two appts went to is concerning. Instead of apologizing as we walked up, we were greeted with a nonchalant response. Definitely would not use her again to get my haircut based on this experience. I still paid the full amount and left a five dollar tip just because I always tip my barbers and I hope that this was just a one off experience with this barber shop and not the normal experience Show more
