Dissapointed, terrible miscommunication. Stylist was sick so he wasnt able to provide the service. No issue there, the problem is they only managed to... let me know 15 mins after my appointment and because I insisted on reaching them. They explained how "They thought I knew" which is strange because at no point was there any communication besides booking the appointment and him confirming it. The appointment was also not cancelled on booksy so I could know not to show. Was at least hoping for them to offer a reschedule but that wasnt the case. I want to believe its just an off day. _______________________ [Context requested by stylist] I was personally asked through Whatsapp to give more context to the situation. They explained that my number was different on the app and hence the miscommunication. I understood and even apologized for the confusion when he explained that to me the day of the appointment. I don't understand how it changes anything. He sent me a single text at 2pm, (Even though he explained in his reply he felt sick since the morning) He received no reply to that text but still came to the conclusion that I was aware of the situation, he did not cancel the Booksy appointment, he did not answer his phone AT the time of the appointment and then blamed me through text for having the wrong number on the app. If you're getting a call at the time of the appointment you'd want to answer to explain the situation, especially if you received no reply previously. No? He looks at the app to know my number is wrong but not to cancel my appointment so I know there's a problem, I reached out and once I got the voicemail multiple times I texted them on Instagram and Whatsapp, still receiving no reply. I verified the app which showed the appointment was still confirmed by the stylist. The issue was never that the service wasn't provided or that they never notified me. It was the lack of effort not only when letting me know there was a problem but at the time of the appointment. The appointment was never cancelled, There was no attempt at a reschedule or effort to rectify the situation. The fact that he was sick and that I didnt receive the service was never the issue. Its the lack of responsibility and care. This review is not meant to be a personal attack. I was even recommended by another stylist that I hold very highly. I was willing to edit the review if he actually reached out and I received the service but sadly he only reached out to thank me sarcastically and try to make it seem I was being insincere with my original review. Though I feel it only proves my point more. Show more

Sorry to hear that, but you forgot to mention you made the appointment with a number that no longer exists. We tried communicating with you almost 2 hours before your appointment. Again, very sorry but it was a situation that was out of our hands. As I had to go to the hospital for a virus that started this morning.
