My nails burned and hurt when the builder went on and I mentioned it but nothing was done. After researching it maybe because she was putting it on to...o thick and leaving it under the uv light too long. She also didn't use scissors like all other Russian manicures I have gotten. Two stars only because they gel hasn't chipped or peeled ten days after my appointment. Show more

Nail Add Ons Gel X Full Set

I went in for a full set of gel-X extensions and throughout the appointment the nails kept popping off, the builder gel would adhere to my nail, but n...ot the fake nail itself, so it would fall off. The appointment ended and we got all the nails to, just barely, stay on. You could tell if you hit them at a wrong angle they would pop off, sure enough I went home and within a few hours had two pop off while doing laundry, so I went back and had them redone the same day, with the same girl. During this second appointment the nail tech filed the top of my natural nails down so much that she almost hit the skin under my nails making them weak and sensitive to the touch. Show more

As a cosmetologist, I can have a critical eye when getting my nails done but today disappointed me. Apportionments with my usual artist are fine. I ov...erlook some very obvious and basic State Board violations because he makes my nails look incredible and feel comfortable. I hate that he may lose a client over the experience I had today. The girl that did my nails was quiet but seemed sweet. She was kind to me the whole time but I wish she would’ve expressed if my design was too much for her to do. Her skills were lacking the most. Overall messy, applied gel polish without having me wash my hands, clumpy outcome, applied gel very thick causing heat strikes under the UV lamp. Immediately went to another salon, they agreed it was very messy and my fingers looked sensitive, and gave me a polish change. Show more
