Hello Jason G and I’m sorry for the frustration but there was a family emergency yesterday, and I'm having issues with automatic confirmations and hours. The shop should be blocked on Sunday but ultimately my responsibility not yours to fix. I am back to regular posted hours and just finally getting a chance to listen to voicemails. I would like to apologize and offer free haircuts for your boys because that's not acceptable on my end and bad business.

Being a business owner all of my adult life, I hate giving bad reviews. I was very disappointed in my first appointment with The Shave Shack. I have b...een a loyal customer of the past owner in this space. This visit was entirely a different experience. When I arrived, there were two people waiting. I had an appointment, so I was next up. I was in the chair for not more than 12 minutes. I felt as soon as he realized I was a senior and would get the senior rate I was rushed. I get he had two walk-ins waiting, but just because im a senior doesn't mean i don't give a crap how my hair looks. I go to independent shops for better service because I do care. My hair was a hack job. Worst haircut in years. I will not be going back. Again, I am pro small business, but it was short sited to rush me out (a possible regular client) to work in two walk-ins you may never see again. Show more

Hello Jon and I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed but I don't give anyone a 12 min haircut no matter how many people are waiting. Every haircut I give I do a consultation before I start and at the end. When I turn you and ask how the haircut looks and feels and if you'd like anything changed that's when you should speak up, because I do that with every client. If it was such a hack job then you should’ve spoken up and given me a chance to correct it. I take my job very serious and I don't feel good when anyone leaves unhappy, it ruins my day and I'm hard on myself. If you'd like to come back and give me another shot I'd be happy to give you a complimentary haircut and if something needs to be brought to my attention maybe this time speak up, I'm a big boy and it won't hurt my feelings. ce
