I am sorry to say but this place great for pedicure but awful for nail dips. Was amazing ubtil it sold now new staff are friendly but not good with na...ils. I have had 3 nail dips and all have cracked or broke off my nail within a few days. This has never happened before. I believe new staff are all new techs and don't do the dip correctly. I won't be back for a 4th dip..wasted money I feel dupped Show more

USE ANOTHER NAIL SALON-they do not deserve your business I cannot express how disappointed this experience was. 3 of us, the bride and 2 from the wedd...ing party came in the day before the wedding for gel and dip. All 3 of us immediately had issues with our nails! I am only going to speak of my experience and let the other ladies share their experiences. By Friday morning, less than 24 hours after I left the salon, I had 3 chipped nails and one that was starting to lift. By the end of day Friday, I had 4 nails left that were mostly in tacked! I called and left a message on Friday mid day and never heard back from Lux. Saturday, the day after the wedding and roughly 1.5 days after getting my nails done and spending $55 on a gel manicure. I went into the salon and spoke to the manager. I requested the few nails left to be soaked off and a refund. The gentleman was very unsympathetic to the situation and said he does not do refunds and they will redo my nails. He seemed to not understand that I would not want my nails redone with the level of low quality service that I initially received, not to mention, the wedding was over and my crappy nails were already in all the photos! I am fine with a no refund policies, I do however, believe there are exceptions to every rule and sympathy and understanding would have gone a long way! Again, he was aware of the issues the other ladies had as well and he still was flippant to the concern. I highly recommend finding another salon for your special events, this place does not deserve your business and surly not your money when they have no concern over the low level quality of their work. Gel manicure is only $40 and matt top coat is $5 extra, we didn’t charge extra, so it couldn’t have been $100+ unless you had designs.We tried to help but you left before we could talk more; You said you wanted a soak and we would have gladly did so if you just tried to listen. I came here because my nail place was closed for vacation for a few days. I chose LUX nails because they were close by (I travel 35 mins to get my nai...ls done). I called them to see if they could take me and they were able to take me immediately! I had Kani and she did an amazing job on my nails and took her time with me. I’m glad I found them because my other nail place was getting sloppy the last few times I had went to them I was not very happy and had contemplated looking for a new nail place anyway. I’ll be making LUX my permanent nail salon! AND their prices are very reasonable! Thanks LUX Nails! Show more

New ownership the owner doesn’t care if you had an appointment they keep saying they take appointments but they don’t. He told me they don’t know how ...to read the book they’re tearing peoples cuticles up. If you zoom into some of those pictures, there’s only one person that can do acrylics I had an appointment and he told me I would have to wait and there was four other people waiting for the one person that does acrylics, he’s showing pictures on Facebook that when it’s very busy but when his loyal customers that came every two weeks or when it’s not busy, he’s gonna be in trouble and I love that he put an ATM in so he could pay him cash but it cost to use the ATM great business would not suggest at all unless you got all day to wait/ The Reply you wrote below is false. These pictures were from your work just recently not the old ownership and yes, you told me I could wait and it is not up to me to work it out with The person you hired to do my nails when they left, you could’ve contacted me you could’ve let me know in someway instead, you want me to wait five hours to get my nails done when I had an appointment, and you told me that you didn’t know how to read an appointment book and that was the owner that said that to me and now suddenly you know how to read the appointment book kind of funny to me. Your Response below is absolute. Insane It’s your responsibility if your employees leave to take care of the customer, not the customers responsibility to work it out with the nail tech I didn’t hire the nail tech you did. I didn’t employ them you did and the pictures I’m speaking of the orange and black manicure tips the cuticles are maimed so why don’t you look at your pictures? Those were not the old owners pictures and furthermore, I can’t wait until it slows down for you and you have no customers because the loyal customers you turned away it was your responsibility to have people that could do all the services not just one person. It is not my responsibility and yes, it was a while ago , but it still angers me because you didn’t care that I had appointment you flat out told me you didn’t care and that I would have to wait and there were already four people waiting that had appointments that’s bad on you. I know plenty of people left I hope you do well and I hope you do well with your ATM that you’re charging people to use saying it’ll save The money on tax and then your charging them at the ATM. We apologize for you having to wait when you came in. As you knew, we didn’t have much people doing the service you requested, hence the wait because it’s based on first come first serve unless you had an appointment. With that being said, you had an appointment and we could not take you in because it was with a nail tech that had left when we became the new management. This means that it is between you and that nail tech, and not our responsibility. Regardless, we welcome all clients but we take appointments before walk-ins, that’s why we had to ask you to wait, and if you couldn’t wait, then that was your decision to leave. For your information, we do take in appointments and we pick up calls regularly so if you had tried again we would’ve booked you down. Also, this happened a while back, you never gave us a try and decided to judge our work based on pictures you saw from prior to us being the new management and not something you experienced with us. Respectfully, please do not bring up something that happened a while back when you could have came in and talked to us about it so we could help resolve the confusion.
