Sadly Not Worth The Trouble! I want to start by saying that the quality of the haircut/service is great—there’s no doubt about her skill. However, th...e overall experience has been REPEATEDLY disappointing due to a serious lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and a lack of basic empathy. Our most recent appointment was scheduled for 4:00 PM—a time she chose and confirmed. She did not communicate that she would be running behind until after the appointment time had already begun and I reached out to her. Once it reached about 35 minutes past appointment time I reached out a second time asking for an ETA. Her response was dismissive and unprofessional: “I’m en route but if you need to leave you can.” She didn’t arrive until 5:00 PM—an hour late—and then took another client ahead of my fiancé, who had already been waiting. He wasn’t brought to the chair until 6:00 PM, a full two hours after his scheduled appointment. There was no apology or accountability—just a complete disregard for our time as if her time is the only one that matters. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we’ve dealt with delays and poor communication, and there’s never been any effort made to acknowledge or correct it. A business should be a healthy two way relationship between client and provider, which is impossible with someone who lacks skills of accountability. While her work is undeniably good, the lack of professionalism, consideration, and customer service makes it NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE. This was our last time booking with her, and I would not recommend anyone else do business with her either. Skill means nothing if it’s not backed by respect, reliability, and basic human decency. Update: After my review was posted, the stylist called both my fiancé and me, clearly upset. During the call, she proceeded to call us out of our names and stated that we were no longer allowed to book with her—something we had already decided ourselves. She also made a comment about how I “talk all this ****” but my fiancé still waited. Yes, he did wait—but only because we had already paid half upfront and he needed the haircut. That decision does not excuse or change the unprofessionalism of the entire situation. We booked same-day, which is a feature she offers and accepts through her website. We followed all required protocols, including booking within the proper timeframe. She was the one who changed the appointment time, and as a business owner, it was her responsibility to ensure that time worked for her schedule. Living 30 minutes from the shop and having prior engagements should’ve been factored in before agreeing to and confirming the appointment. That said, the haircut itself turned out great—my fiancé looked very handsome, as always. However, her attitude and lack of professionalism were unacceptable. My communication was clear and I told you I had prior arrangements. Not to mention you all constantly book last minute and expect me to rush to your call. You booked today, last minute per usual. No, I don’t operate that way. I leave 30 mins from the shop I work also and you were made aware of that.

I was told my son’s hair was difficult to manage and cut because he has a 4c texture. My son would cry and flinch during his haircuts but not with Ms ...Toot Cutz! He did none of that! She was so gentle, yet quick. My baby loved her so much, he was asking if she can do his retwist 🤣 This is by far the best haircut my big boy ever received and there was no crying drama over here! I would book with Toot Cutz asap if you’re looking for professional, reasonably price hair cuts for yourself and family. Show more
