My hair came out really great! I’m pleased with it. But the cleanliness of the studio was hard to ignore. There was hair everywhere on the floor, her ...products didn’t look clean.
At first we were having great conversation but then I felt she didn’t want to talk and ended up being quiet the rest of the time.
She’s a little intense with brushing (it felt like my scalp was being pulled a lot and not being brushed from bottom to top) and putting the heat on my scalp when blow drying.
Overall the work was good but kinda hard to find her studio when you get in there and her price was over 100$ more than the starting price she put.

As a first time client, and someone who usually only goes to stylists I know personally, booking this appointment was a big step. I scheduled an all-over color, blow-dry, and style, and I will say that the color itself turned out beautiful. I asked for a deep red, and Stephanie absolutely delivered on the color. She was friendly, funny, and easy to talk to throughout the appointment.
Unfortunately, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. While I completely understand appointments can run behind, I was not initially notified that she was running a bit late. I also wasn't given clear instructions on how to find her suite in a building full of other suites, which made locating her stressful.
There were several moments during the service that felt unprofessional. My hair wasn't brushed out before the color application, which made the process a bit uncomfortable. While my color was processing, I was left alone and not checked on at all.
The biggest issue was the environment. Throughout the appointment, which is meant to be relaxing, her children repeatedly came into the suite and interrupted her. While I know life happens, and her children were completely welcomed, it was distracting and made it difficult to enjoy my experience. They also left quite a mess in her suite, which made it difficult to get comfortable and maneuver around easily.
I genuinely love the final result, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one (and I tipped generously). However, the overall experience did not match the level of professionalism and customer care I was expecting.
