I made this appointment for my son (Male cornrows + design). I was a new client. I arrived on time, but the stylist Rosa was late. Upon arriving, the ...stylist mentioned she recently had surgery on her wrist and would not be able to complete the appointment. Sad news and empathy was given, but also very disheartening for me as a client, because had I been made aware, I would've booked elsewhere to avoid such delay. She then attempted to give me a phone number to call and visit another shop to have such done, but with no guarantee. After nearly 15 minutes of such, she then calls someone who came in to braid my son's hair, but this stylist was not able to do designs. I paid a deposit initially when booking my appointment. After the appointment was finally done nearly 2 hours later, I attempted to pay via Booksy using the same payment method I used prior when booking the appointment for my deposit. I was then informed by Rosa that she recently had someone create her page on Booksy in order to draw-in more clients for her; however, Rosa mentioned she did not know how to use the Booksy app herself. I literally had to show her how to request payment on the Booksy app (meaning... she opened her Booksy app and I directed her throughout different screens on her phone via the app of what to select, etc.) This entire experience was VERY unpleasant. I would NOT recommend it!!! I will NOT be returning. Show more
