I’d been putting off getting a massage for YEARS to relieve some consistent muscle pain in my back and hip. I’d also recently lost a family member and... was dealing with pretty unbearable muscle tension from stress/grief. I chose Union Hands Mobile Massage for the convenience of having a massage in my own home, and for Joshua’s resume. I could see that he was an experienced professional, and all of his licensing credentials were current and available online. Joshua responded promptly to my initial email inquiry, answered all of my questions, and made himself available in the event I had any additional questions or concerns before booking. It was obvious he cares a great deal about making sure his clients book the proper services, and he was very thorough in getting the necessary information about my needs before our first session. I really appreciated his responses and informed feedback. I booked an evening session, Joshua confirmed my appt via email, and contacted me in advance of my appointment to let me know his arrival time. He arrived early enough to set up and sanitize before the session, and gave me plenty of privacy to get myself safely on the table and comfortably covered before and after the session. He made sure I was completely at ease, and set a collaborative tone so that I knew I could comfortably advocate for myself if I felt any discomfort. Overall, what started as an attempt to correct pain, ended up feeling like I’d booked a luxury service. I went into this not expecting more than the basics, but Joshua really raised the bar of my expectations. I plan on incorporating Union Hands Mobile Massage into my routine as a much-needed form of self care. Most of all, I liked that I didn’t have to leave the comfort of my own home to relax, decompress, and alleviate muscle tension. It really was a game changer for me to realize I don’t have to just live with muscle pain, and that something can actually be done to reduce it or eliminate it altogether. Thank you, Joshua!
