I didn’t enjoy my appointment at all. I was serviced by Teri, and she rents a chair out of the barbershop American Parlor. The barbershop itself was a...mazing with great barbers and a wonderful Vibes from every single person. For Teri, Word of advice, if there is a style that you cannot perform, please do not accept the appointment. If you don’t have the appropriate products, or combs, brush etc, please do not accept the appointment. First red flag was she made me pay for service up front. Second red flag was she had to ask another barber for hair product (I was getting a sew in with a pony tail)! I saw her ask two barbers. Third red flag was she sewed my hair with a straight needle and not a curve needle—- piercing my scalp several times. Fourth red flag, I kept asking to see my hair with a mirror to confirm that it is the style I wanted and she refused to allow me to see my hair. Fifth red flag, my appointment started at 8:30am, I didn’t leave the shop until 1:47pm. I have gotten this hairstyle 5-6 times and it took the most 2 hours. My hair was already washed and blow dried. Another red flag because who is counting at this point, she combed my weave with a small teeth comb and not a weave brush. She continued to brag about all these celebrities that she style but no photos to confirm her work. I have traction alopecia and brought my own products to mask my thin edges, she proceeded to use my product all over my head because she didn’t have any prodcuts. In fact, when I asked her about the products that she uses, she just stared at me with no response. Sorry for the prolonged review, but this is absolutely reckless and irresponsible. I am lending on reporting this incident to the BOARD! Please PLEASE, stick to braiding children’s hair! Update to response: You lied in your response and that speaks volumes. I am not upset with you, but rather in myself after bypassing all of the red flags. Usually I accept my “L” and move along but I work too hard for my money and I don’t play about the crown that’s on my head. And Lord knows I hate to leave a bad review on a BOB! Respectfully, as God is my witness, this is the first time that I had to leave a review like this for services rendered. As I mention, I am from north Atlanta and my stylist is not here. The only other stylist that I go to in Fayetteville is getting ready to have a baby. So I resulted to Booksy to get a hairstyle while I am here. I am sorry that you feel that you have to lie. If the straight needle was for splitting the weaves, then why was thread in it? You never told me that you would not service me again! I never told you that I went to 3 stylist. Braids gave me traction alopecia. This hair style wouldn’t affect whether I had traction alopecia or not. I asked to see my hair 3 times before you gave me a mirror. I never said that my hair is sensitive. I always keep my products with me because I know which products work with my edges. How can you tell me to bring the hair the day before and I booked the night before? Meaning we didn’t even know each other then? As I stated in my initial review, you should have decline the appointment. It is a lesson learned for me. I wish you the best in your journey. If there is a conversation to be had, you have my number and I wholeheartedly welcome it. As I mention earlier, I hate to leave this review on any business but especially a BOB, but there are many concerning elements that I experienced. Show more

Update: Delete these lies. I'll be seeing you and the stylist that sent you in court. Make sure you show up like all my other 5star reviews have showed up. Not a 2-3-4 but all 5's. Just like my other 4 sites. I've sued ppl that stole from my store so I know the law well. I've been a stylist/ educator for over 30 years. I owned a hair supply store that's why your comment about supplies is a full lie. I actually have more than the salon I was in could accommodate for. I was getting my styling wax back from another stylist that had borrowed it from me. All clients bring hair in prior. Your stylist cosigner does ktips microlocs. Targeted harassment to other stylist who offer those services is illegal. I know a few other stylist that had similar events happen. We compare the similar behaviors. Class action is real. You attempted to refund the money while being serviced but the app told you no. I told you I would not be servicing you in the future. You came with the intention to do this nonsense. I don't operate like your cosigner. Simple to think this is my only booking site. You will answer for this nonsense legally. Another stylist was right next to me and across from me can bare witness that I gave you the mirror 3 times. All these lies are redundant like your cosigners business that's failing. Harassing other stylist by deformation is not the thing to be doing. I will seek a remedy for each day this Tort review post. I have the legal right to do so publically.
