I went to get loc extensions which takes at least 5 1/2 hours, but Roxy was done in 2 hours 40 minutes and she had a male client that arrived shortly ...afterwards. She was extremely rough with my hair and the process was rush and not done correctly. A lot of my real hair was outside every locs, showing straight hairs along side of it. She tried to blend it in with gel. The parts were noticeably uneven in the very front of my head and did not match the loc size. My hair looked terrible and it was embarrassing to be seen like that. I had to miss church to take this mess out of my hair. This was the worst experience I ever had. Initially, I had a bad feeling about going to her when she kept hounding me to come a week earlier than my schedule appointment in spite I told her several times that wasn’t feasible. I gave her a chance because I was trying to be supportive of a new stylist and felt she needed the money. Never will I go against my intuition again. Show more

I always aim to provide the best service possible with honesty, professionalism, and respect. To clarify a few things for transparency: prior to your appointment, I did communicate clearly about the type of hair needed. On the day of your appointment, although you arrived late and with the incorrect hair color and texture, I still proceeded with the service and did my best to accommodate you. During the process, I explained everything and ensured the parts matched the size of the locs, as discussed. When you later requested a size change, I agreed without hesitation and didn’t charge for the adjustment—only for the takedown, which is standard. However, you canceled the follow-up and never returned for the correction before leaving this review. I also want to clarify that I did not use gel to blend your hair. Gel was only applied at the roots for the retwist, which is a common part of the service. Even though I’m confident in how everything was handled, I do apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations. I value all feedback and always aim to grow and improve.
