I recently visited Angel Foot Spa for a $50 service and paid with a $100 bill. After receiving my change, the employee began insisting that I leave a ...tip. I asked whether tipping was mandatory, and he repeatedly pointed to a sign on the wall, but nowhere did it state that tips were required. The situation became very uncomfortable when he continued pressuring me about tipping and got close enough that I had to tell him to chill out. He then compared it to tipping at a restaurant. When I continued to question why a tip was being demanded, he told me, "You know what, just leave. Don't come back here." I understand and respect that tips are appreciated, but customers should never be harassed, pressured, or made to feel uncomfortable for choosing not to tip. Experiences like this can make customers feel unwanted and disrespected. Not everyone has extra money for a tip some people may only have enough to pay for the service itself and are simply trying to treat themselves to a massage. No customer should be made to feel guilty or unwelcome because of that. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression on me, and I would not return.
