Great local salon! Booking appointments is easy & quick via the app, and the hours of operation make it easy to find a time that works for you. After... finding Myranda while searching for someone to braid my daughter’s hair prior to back surgery and post surgery, I decided to return for my own hair service. I have alopecia and after getting COVID in 2021, I lost all my hair, which has just started to grow back. I needed a quick trim just to keep what little I have growing back under control. Taking off my wigs around people I’m not comfortable with can be nerve wracking. But Hempstead offered just enough privacy to not make it a big deal or to feel like I was in a fishbowl, with all passerby’s able to see me getting my haircut. Myranda is so sociable and easy going, making it a pleasure to be in her salon, and putting everyone at ease around her. Show more
