From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I would like this barber shop. The shop itself had an old-school minimalistic barber shop feel - a single... line of barber chairs and a comfortable couch for waiting. The only thing missing was a barber pole outside. The music selection was, as the kids say, on point. And last but not least, Derek was not only friendly but also took the time to explain how my hair works and what styles would suit me best. Noticed the beauteous window design while taking my son to Wonderland next door and thought I’d look more into this new place especially given the fac...t that it’s near impossible to get an appointment for a haircut in Shorewood. Derek did not disappoint. He’s a true artisan at his craft, is personable, and his customer service was truly sublime. Derek not only gave me a damn good cut, but he also gave me solid hair care advice, tantalizing conversation, and was unapologetically himself. I’m beyond excited to continue going to him for future hair needs and he is a welcoming presence to Shorewood! Show more
