Brittany, was very unprofessional, unorganized, unethical, uncouth, unhinged, rude and late for my 9:30 am appointment. Although, she emailed me at 6:...35 am inquiring about my color preference of hair. Now, I reached out on Wednesday, the day before inquiring about hair and got no response. I emailed the stylist 4x stating my hair preference was 1b at 8:01, 8:14, 8:23, and 8:26. She pretended not to see any of my email responses. Because she emailed and asked me to call her back and I did. Brittany, said, “I want to put a voice to the name been getting a lot of spamming.” I was asked to text her when I got there; due to them having the door locked. First of all Altered Ego Braiding Studio isn’t the name on the suite door! I really don’t know what your true intentions was wrong address online the real location isn’t released until the day of service. Another stylist had to let me in because Brittany wasn’t in the suite. Then attempted to go off on me about communicating when she wasn’t responding to my emails or texts. The hair stylist needs customer service training immediately. It’s about providing a pleasant experience to the consumer who is paying for the service. I am sorry you are not use to seeing someone with two phones. I don’t know you what does that have to do with you not being at the appointment scheduled at Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 9:30 am. You already knew it was a Google voice number as you called the number on June 16, 2026, at 5:18 pm. Learn some etiquette and you should of rejected the appointment if you had these concerns. Brittany, is a scammer you wanted the money! So, should’ve rejected the appointment because you didn’t have to accept the appointment. You could of cancelled the appointment at anytime but you didn’t.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I respectfully disagree with several statements made in this review, but I understand that this was your experience. Because of the rise in fraudulent bookings, I take extra steps to verify client information before appointments. The appointment was booked using one phone number, but communication later came from a different number, which created legitimate concerns that I needed to address before proceeding. My goal has always been to provide a professional experience while protecting both my business and my clients. After serving my community for 10 years, this has been my first negative review, and I remain committed to treating every client with respect, professionalism, and integrity.
