Hi Ariel, Thank you for your review, but I’d like to clarify a few points. For your first appointment, you arrived with hair you had already purchased. I normally provide hair with my services, as you knew from your daughter’s appointment, but since you brought your own, I agreed. Unfortunately, the hair tangled badly and was difficult to work with, which I shared with you. You also requested I blend in black hair with the color you brought, adding 2 hours. Then, close to your appointment, you requested a closure to cover thinning. Closures require extra care, (the sew in and more volume ) added a few more hours. The appointment lasted 14 hours due to all these and the style being small box braids which I did extra small to ensure full coverage to thinning parts. The next day, you said you loved your braids but not the ends. I fit you in immediately at 8 p.m. You acknowledged the first hair “wasn’t my fault.” I suggested trimming and dipping again, but you wanted the ends redone with brighter hair. I recommended Freetress, which you purchased, and the redo came out smoother and lighter. You said you loved your hair. Redoing all ends isn’t standard and took longer than 2 hours, so I charged $100; you paid $80 and applied your $20 tip. Finally, I never yank or handle clients roughly; if you felt discomfort, I wish you had mentioned it so I could apologize and adjust.
