I have a fascination with barbers. No matter what city or country I’m in, my first priority is to look for the best rated barber. Sometimes I might ha...ve to wait a few hours or even a few days, but I live for barber shop haircuts. In my search for the perfect barber, most of the barbers always fell short. Either they didn’t do the basics like clean your ear hairs or shave the neck or they weren’t very creative and opted to do the same haircut they give to all their clients. Way too typical. So a few weeks ago I thought I’d once again search for a barber here in Akron and after researching the reviews, I came across Scenic Cutz!! I booked an appointment. On the day of the haircut, we chatted. I told him what I was looking for. I told him I would change from time to time but that I loved individuality and I loved a barber who was willing to take chances. I have to say that this was one of the three barbers in the United States that have made me smile from ear to ear. I will go a step further and say that I booked my next appointment within minutes of getting my haircut. That was a first. The atmosphere is wonderful. It’s a little industrial and a little artsy but definitely very comfortable. I have finally found a barber who understands my hair and his professionalism is top notch!I might just have to stop booking appointments in New York and San Diego. This is the place for me.
