    • Keratin Treatment /Brazilian Blowout

      A Keratin Treatment, sometimes called a Brazilian blowout or Brazilian keratin treatment, is a chemical procedure that should be done in a salon that can make hair look straighter for as long as 6 months. It adds intense glossy shine to hair and can reduce frizz. Don’t Wash: Avoid washing your hair for at least three days after the treatment; say no to swimming and intense physical activity too as you don't want to sweat. Wear your hair down and straight for the first couple of days after the treatment or for as long as you can. Upkeep: After you get a keratin hair treatment, and after the “Don’t Wash” waiting period, you should use sodium-sulfate-free shampoo to help maintain the treatment. How Long It Lasts: Expect the results to last 2 1/2 - 6 months….As long as you have followed “UpKeep” instructions.

She did a very lovely job on my hair.I got my hair shaped up and and it looks very nice.The only thing that I could say that I wasn’t fully clear on w...as the price the process of steps to do the hair.I made an appointment for a basic silk press which was about $50 bucks or so.I recieved treatments,only one that I was clear on.I originally asked for a hot oil and didn’t get that.Instead she did an olaplex treatment and a soothing scalp treatment.She did walk me through the steps of certain things,but when I saw the receipt the services were way more than I had originally anticipated.I have no problem paying for a service,but I have to be ok with paying for it.I just would have appreciated being asked if it was ok to do xyz before doing it and charging.Even if she thought it was best for my hair,I should have the option of deciding what I will and won’t pay for ahead of going through with a service.We should be completely clear on what a service entails and how much it will cost before proceeding.There are two blowout services and the one I paid for was $50-$60 more and the description of the more expensive one isn’t listed on the menu.Plus taxes and a tip the total was $240.So just want people to be prepared before they book an appointment that you may pay more than you originally anticipated. Amazing. My stylist was warm and welcoming from the door. Though this was my first experience with her, she made me feel like a familiar face. She lis...tened to my concerns prior to service and informed me of what she was doing, and why, through every step. My hair is natural and i typically stuggle with scalp tenderness.
