My hair came out good, but I would never recommend her to anyone solely based on her business morals and discrimination. Iā€™m mixed - half black and wh...ite. I am olive skin toned & have type 3B curly hair. As soon as I walked in she didnā€™t say hi back she looked me up and down and said ā€œYouā€™re not ethnic, Iā€™m going to charge a $100 non-ethnic feeā€ even though I already told her I was mixed. Isnā€™t that illegal??? I have had my hair braided with sew ins before and Iā€™ve never been treated like this before and charged extra for my skin tone. There was no extra service, nothing special just a basic sew-in with leave out. For $300? It was supposed to be $150. I also paid a $50 deposit at booking and she said the deposit doesnā€™t go towards your serviceā€¦ & when I was questioning that she pretended to do me a favor of putting $25 of it towards my cost, wtf? I would never go to her again and she knows sheā€™s wrong for charging me an extra fee and keeping my depositā€¦. Response: Your kind?? Whatā€™s that even supposed to mean lol I was polite, got the service done and paid because we already had a set appointment and unlike some people I respect others and their time. Iā€™m a non confrontational person. I wasnā€™t going to sit there and argue with you about what race I am, when I had already told you multiple times.. I gave you a $50 deposit for this appointment so why would I lose thatā€¦ oh wait I still did because you didnā€™t even count it towards my total? Never heard of that.. if you look at everything obviously, you just wanted extra money so I guess maybe you needed it that bad? God bless you girly. Response: Your policy said I needed to tame & blow dry my hair so I did thatā€¦ knowing curly hair, you should know when itā€™s blow dried it obviously isnā€™t going to be 3b. But thanks! Show more

Firstly the shop was BEAUTIFUL, clean, and comfortable. I loved my hair after the service, but the closure became loose after a few days of getting it... tightened. This may be due to the fact that it was previously installed by another stylist, so I donā€™t fault her for it. Poor customer services she was rude, ghetto & unprofessional. My appointment was on December 27th. 3 hrs prior to my appointment she canceled without ...notifying me with a call or curtiousy text. Which was the same day i washed, blow dryed and combed my hair. She ended up cancelling appointment and changing it to the 29th, without verifying with me. The day of my appointment i waited 15 minutes for her to open the shop. When i came inside i greeted her with a hello twice and she didn't respond. Shortly after i sat down she complained about my hair not being blow dryed. I then explained to her that my hair was prepared for the original appointment not the one she rescheduled. (My hair had shrinkage) because of that she charged me a extra $15. Just to add to this terrible service, i feel i did not get the service i paid for, and i will never go back. (For those wondering i only kept this appointment because i needed my hair done for my birthday and everyone was booked) i didnt consent to you recording my hair in the beginning of the video after my appointment she lied an put no show an charge $75 for a cancellation fee an this is what i look like after she did my hair its filter the hair is not the best Show more
