Barber was personable but, after showing the barber a photo of the drop fade I wanted and answering his clarifying questions, he still cut my hair sho...rter than I asked him to. It will take a while to grow it out again to attempt the same style. I wish he would have made it clear that he didn’t know what a drop fade was or that he wasn’t clear on what I was requesting. Even just being a little more conservative on cutting large portions of hair could have helped avoid this outcome. Additionally, the resulting haircut (basically a skin fade that I didn’t want) is only okay as the gradient space is super tiny and not truly a “fade” because the fade effect is severely diminished by its tight width.
