I mistakenly booked Senegalese twists assuming that they were a twisted hairstyle that I had been getting for years. The correction was made and I cho...se to get kinky twists instead. The finished product left a lot to be desired.. my braids aren’t clean, twisting pattern is un even and my ends aren’t curled.. despite being freshly done, my braids look weeks old and I’m currently wearing them pulled back in a bun from the ends being unkempt. My experience wasn't the best for me or my daughter. I had an appointment on Tuesday and my daughter on Wednesday. She called me Monday night asking ...if my child and I could be at her house at 6 am on Tuesday. I told her that wouldn't work because I had to take my son to daycare. She dared to say, "You can drop your child off here and come back." HELL NO. I don't KNOW YOU. She said she could wash her hair and take it down for $50 extra. When we got to her HOUSE not a shop, she asked if I brought my child some changing clothes. I said no why? She said she has to wash her hair in the bathtub. I said Why not the sink? She looked at me like I was crazy. She doesn't have a wash bowl. Then I showed her a style I wanted, but it wasn't the same and my retwist didn't last a week. My wife saw my hair and said, "That's what you paid for in someone's house." Now it's my daughter's turn. She tried to blow out her hair but didn't have the right dryer. My child cried the whole time and she gets her hair done regularly. I've never seen her cry the way she did with her. Matilda was like bring her back on Friday and I can try again. She was being really weird asking my daughter if she could have her, she can take her to the pool, and kept telling her how pretty she is. It made my 8-year-old feel very uncomfortable. When we got to the car, my daughter cried and said I don't want to go back. She was hurting me and she doesn't know how to do kids' hair. We didn't go back. Matilda was calling my phone all day every day to the point I had to block her. She isn't professional and I see why she charges a $40 cancellation fee (because when you pull up, it's not what you expected). FYI, I like going to the beauty shop for my safety and I didn't see any license for hair. Show more

My dear, you called me for appointment for retwisting and styling for yourself and takedown and cornrows for your daughter, but I remember explaining to you I don't Wash but I can wash your daughter hair since she a kid in my bathtub since she a kid so you should add extra dress for her. I wanted you to come early because you were two but you explained to me you can't make it because you have to take your son to daycare, so I told you then you can drop your daughter off so I can start with her whiles you take your son to daycare and it was a suggestion I made to you so by the time you come back I will be done with your daughter's hair so I can start with yours but you declined saying you didn't no me which I understand.All I was trying to do was to help out because you needed my services and I also need you income. When you came I started with your daughter's hair which was the take down,when combing it out she was crying through out and I understand her pain she was going through I try my best to do it very gentle but she was still crying, I can't saying because of money I have to continue and with my experiences some kids are like that whatever you do they will still cry.So I told you since she's not allowing me to comb the hair I can't braid the hair the same day so take her home and you being her Mom she may be comfortable so you can try and comb it out well for her and the next day for her braids. Even that your daughter was still crying because she said I shouldn't stop
