My niece gave me the stylist’s contact information, and I can see she truly does amazing work. That’s why I was excited to book my 8-year-old daughter... for her first salon experience. Unfortunately, honoring my time is equally important. When we arrived for the appointment, I later received a call from the stylist saying she was stuck in traffic and would be there within an hour. I understood and waited. About an hour later, she called again to say she was still in traffic and we would need to reschedule. What made it more disappointing is that another stylist mentioned she had been there earlier but left a little bit ago. With my schedule and wanting to give my daughter this special first-time experience, the cancellation was really discouraging. I appreciate the communication, but the situation fell short of what I expected. I hadn’t planned to leave a review, but after receiving multiple requests, I felt it was fair to share my experience. Gratitude for your review. I do apologize for my delay and having to reschedule your daughter's appointment. I had to leave the Salon to tend to my family situation that lead me to have to request to reschedule. If it wasn't for that I would have been there.

I’ve been going back and forth on the decision to start my sista loc journey. Yesterday afternoon I stepped out on faith with Ms. Monica to finally g...o forward on this adventure…. Praying we can get this accomplished in 2-3 day commitment. Can’t wait to post our results on the 4th💥 Sooooooooo we took the day off on the 4th💥 and finished the sister loc installation on Friday the 5th👏🏽 Like a gentleman stated, “It was a marathon”! And I’m beyond happy with the results 🫶🏽 Ms. Monica is working on registering me to receive my kit (hair products; etc.) and certificate. I have never had someone so attentive and detailed do my hair the way she has. The day I left her shop I got multiple compliments to how neat and clea...n my retightening looked. She is amazing! She is very flexible and extremely detailed oriented. I left her shop without a single strand of hair left behind. She literally created new locs where I had a heap of loose hair. I seriously don’t understand why everyone is not going to her. I would also like to add that I was a transfer client and needed my hair done asap before a business trip. She rearranged her schedule to make sure she was able to help me. She will now be my primary loctician!!! This lady is amazing and professional.. this is three weeks out and my locs are still on point. I usually get my retightening every 4 weeks because of how bushy it looks. You can literally still see my scalp and parts at three weeks. Love love love how she did my hair. I’m so happy!! Thank you so much Show more

Please be mindful when booking. I was scheduled for 11/26-11/30. She canceled the 26th and wanted to delay 3hrs on the 27th. At first I said ok but I ...thought I would need the whole next week for my hair because she works shorter hrs through the week. So I decided to cancel because I didn’t have all those days for hair. After canceling she said come at the normal time for the 27th. Still we have lost a whole day. I ask for a refund of my deposit (not expecting the whole amount) she said she would give it. Now I am being given the run around about the refund. If she was willing to take my deposit she should have been willing to be there at the scheduled time. Lesson learned be aware everyone does not stand on their own word. Thanks so much for the refund! Show more

Thank you for your review. You were scheduled for the day after the holiday. I thought I would make it back in town. I arrived back at 4am the next day. So I reached out once I returned to see if we could start 2 hrs later so I could get rest to be refreshed for your appointment. Those days was blocked off with a non refundable deposit. I still had plenty of time to install your hair. I didn’t cancel on you. I shared I would refund the deposit. You don’t know my back office with banking and delay for those funds to become available due to the holiday. I shared with you yesterday that it should be today Friday. Good day
