Feedin ponytail 12 braids or less

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Clara. She lacked basic communication skills. I booked feed-in braids with her. The day before app...ointment, I asked her about the deposit. She did not actually send a verbal response, she simply forwarded her very, very long list of rules. Day of the appointment I text her 45 minutes before the scheduled appointment time. She confirms the hair I need to get. Then right after that tells me that she's still at work and can I come an hour and a half after our agreed upon appointment slot. Among Clara's many rules, she specifically states she will cancel your appointment if you don't make it after 20 minutes. Yet, I was being asked to wait 90 minutes. In my opinion it was inconsiderate and not once did she apologize for the inconvenience. Things happen but my biggest issue is Clara did not communicate with me at all that she was stuck at work until the very last minute after I texted her first. My time is valuable just like hers. This situation was a waste of my time, energy, and gas because I don't live on the west side of Orlando (towards Ocoee). The only other thing I'll add is she rightfully gave me my deposit back (also made this more complicated than it needed to be). **Edit: Sadly instead of using my initial review above as a learning lesson to improve her business, Clara took it upon herself to text my # about the review. I work and also own a business. I'd never conduct myself that way. So Adding exact details. My appointment was at 1pm. I was asked to come at 2:30pm. I have all the screen shots and no reason to lie. Sorry that your experience was bad and my apologies to you. But I work another job which I can't be on the phone, so if my communication was fast enough for you then that's why. I was scheduled to get off at 12 noon, as soon as I found out that my relief was going to be late I immediately stepped outside my job to let you know that. Your appointment was at 1:30, I text you at 11:59 to see if you can come a lil later because I couldn’t leave until my relief came. I did not wait til the last min, it was an hour and a half before you were to arrive. I work in a hospital signals are not that good, I communicated when I saw the text. My phone is on silent when I’m working because I work with patients. I responded when I was able to. And as far as your deposit it was returned with no problem. So please don’t make it seem like i was unprofessional when clearly I tried to accommodate you.

Clara always does a great job with my hair. I get so many compliments whether it’s two braids or crochet, everyone is always impressed. Clara takes he...r time but doesn’t have me in the chair all day. She gets me in and out and that’s why I keep coming back. It’s a bit of a drive for me but it’s worth it once I leave. Show more
