Life saver!!! B came through in the clutch. I had went to a Skillcutz (Goose Creek) on a Thursday evening and requested a drop fade from Meek. He norm...ally does a solid job as I typically just get a high one with a taper. Unfortunately this day he was off and gave me arguably the worst haircut in my life. Guideline was too high, fade wasn’t blended properly and he pushed back my edge up, along with taking almost 2 hrs to cut my hair. I was internally pissed but never showed emotion because my daughter was with me and and just left. I had a very important Gala to attend that Saturday 12/6 at 6pm and there was no way I was showing up with my head looking like that. Fortunately I’ve always been positive and solutions based and Brandon had an opening at 4pm that same Saturday as the event. I booked the appointment immediately and just walked around with a hat on everywhere I went in the interim. . He recommended that I get a mid fade, fixed it and he blended it perfectly given the circumstances. Since my edge up was already slightly pushed back he did a temporary push back on the other side to make it even specifically for the event and recommended that I give it a few weeks to grow back. After leaving Brandon a 5-star review in Nov 2023, I felt I needed to update my review. While I still believe Brandon gives a great haircut, I'm goin...g down to 3 stars because at nearly ever appointment, he either changed the time we booked online or showed up late. In some cases, very late. To his credit, he typically communicates that he's running late, but this last time was the final straw. He changed the original time we booked to a time of his choosing and then didn't show up! He texted he overslept and would be there in 20 mins, only to show up an hour and a half later - leaving us waiting in the parking lot the entire time b/c the shop wasn't even open. This wasn't the first, second, third, or even fourth time he'd done this. I understand life happens but at some point, it's no longer "life happens" and it becomes chronic and unprofessional. Sorry, but we're taking our business elsewhere. Best of luck to you - I hope you can figure things out. You seem like a good guy w/ good intentions; your inability to honor your appointment times just doesn't work with our scheduled lifestyle. Show more
