I have been faithfully & respectfully getting my hair done by J Greene for years. There are so many flaws starting with the way she conducts her business and treats customers. I recently came to her and when I left everything looked good but when I g...ot home later and wiped my hair line, black ink came off onto my hands. She dragged my hairline so bad and she covered it up with black fiber spray and didn’t have the decency to tell a longtime customer the truth that she messed up badly, she’d rather take my money and keep quiet. She also cut me so bad with the razor blade she uses for edging and it now turned into a black scab as you can see in the picture I attached. I posted a picture of what my hairline looked about an hour after I left her and another picture the next day after I wiped off her cover up. When I sent her pics and explained the problem respectfully, she would not reply and 4 days later I contacted her again and she spoke to me as if I have not been faithfully going to her for 3 years. You can CLEARLY see in one of the screenshots I attached, that I contacted her about this problem on October 28th at 3:48pm, which was about a day after my scheduled appointment. My hairline was completely fine until this last time she worked on my head and I have pictures of every time I leave her chair to prove so. It is clear and obvious that she did something wrong and then covered it up while making me find out on my own without telling me. She is flat out denying that she did anything wrong and basically avoiding the problem. But I wasn’t looking for an admission, I was expecting her to tell me she appreciated my feedback and longtime service and just come back and let’s get me back right again! Especially since it was soon after my appointment and since I haven’t let anybody touch my head in years, except for her. Weeks later I contacted her again and she kept the same attitude but it got worse and when she offered me to come in, I asked her when and she didn’t reply and later that day basically told me to hit the streets and don’t come to her again after I respectfully told her my issues. It’s like I have to fight to get a response from her. I literally felt embarrassed and angry that this is how i’m treated after all the years of tipping and showing love to what I thought was a great stylist. Despite the facts that her work area consistently smells like marijuana (a fact), the fact that she has her dogs around her customers not even caring if they like dogs or are allergic or anything, she repeatedly will start your hair and while your under the dryer she will start somebody else’s hair and you will be sitting, waiting for over 30 minutes to finish getting your hair done because she likes to double up on heads instead of respecting the customers time as well. The last time she washing my hair, I watched her take dirty dishes right out of her sink and then tell me to put my head in so she can wash my hair, literally. Plenty of times I come to her door and i’m waiting outside for 10 to 20 minutes because she is still sleep or just getting up when I am on time for my appointment. She comes off as a very immature, careless and untrustworthy person sometimes. And to make matters worse, she offered me a refund and when I sent her my information to receive it, she didn’t send it and texted me that she would send it whenever she feels like it. Seriously. I have attached pictures of that interaction as well. I never once disrespected her since i’ve known her. I never once led her to believe that i didn’t appreciate her service and this is the thanks I get! I am still in shock but it’s all facts. Beware! I do not recommend!

Jonathan, I apologize for your experience and would like to note a few items: Our goal with your hair specifically was to grow your edge up back in. We allowed it to do so and I grabbed all loose new growth hair into your retwist. Because the hair line was not fully grown in , your edge up did in fact look dense and will likely continue to look this way until you have a fully grown in hairline. I did not push your edge up back but because you were disappointed and thought this... I agreed I would reimburse. At the time of that conversation I was doing hair all day so I apologize that money was not returned “immediately “. I also was not contacted by you until 3 weeks after I serviced you, not immediately after. The list of other concerns you expressed are unfortunate opinions and I wish you had shared with me sooner if anything about how I conduct business has bothered you. I genuinely hope you find the Loctician and barber that can meet your needs, since I know this has been an issue in the past. Best wishes.
