Let me tell you about Desmond. I’ve never been a fan of getting haircuts mostly because barbers in the past have consistently let me down. But Desmond...? He’s in a league of his own. The man is an artist. His fades are top-tier, and he truly understands how to work with my Salvadorean curly hair, which isn’t easy to get right. Like a painter with a full set of brushes, Desmond uses multiple clippers each with a specific purpose to craft a cut that’s clean, sharp, and tailored. Every visit leaves me walking out with fresh confidence, and I always make sure to tip him well because his work is that good. And beyond the skill? He’s just a great person to talk to. Chill vibe, great energy. I can’t recommend Desmond enough. Show more

After my past barber moved out of town, I’ve had bad luck finding a good barber in the Valley/LA area. Stumbled upon Desmond at Fade LA Barbershop and... I’m glad I did. My fade came out very clean and blended great. Line up and goatee cleanup both came out sharp. He told me about his years of experience cutting hair and he’s proven that my last 4 cuts with him. Desmond is very chill as well. Makes the haircut experience a good one, is very responsive in regards to scheduling, and focuses on the details that you point out for your cut. When comparing to other barbershops around that I’ve called and been to, his prices are arguably the best based on what you’re looking for.
