UPDATE TO HER REPLY: One thing I am not is a liar, I explained exactly what happened to a up T. So here’s the screenshots of the phone calls, text mes...sages. I’m a provider myself so taking accountability and accommodating is literally the best solution for when things are out of your control, $10 was an insult when to me just adding a little length or making them a bit smaller something to accommodate if you aren’t wanting to give a true discount for the inconvenience. Even then I didn’t argue I still was going to come in next day and pay the $250 but yet still needed a deposit is crazy. I get things come up but it’s how you handled it, you could’ve got started and when they showed up at what 10:40 we could’ve brought a chair outside and finished up…. I shouldn’t had to go through the trouble of trying to find and book a braider last minute when I had this appointment booked for weeks!!! See screenshots below! Not much to say about the work because I never got it done, I arrived at my 9am appointment at 8:58am as I was just at the door got a call letting me know that she can’t take me now because she got a call they will come spray for bugs between 10-12pm, I was immediately upset of course because I’m coming a long way! She did try to accommodate and said she can have me back at 1pm and at first I was going to move my other appointments to get my hair done because I needed it done for Friday but as I thought it’s not fair for me to cancel on other providers last minute because of my hair stylist inconvenience. She then offered to come to me which I was like great I have a salon suite she can come there but when I texted her that she said she wanted to ride with me there… which was confusing because huh? How did you know I even drove? How would you have gotten back home it’s not my fault or responsibility of any of the circumstances honestly. The good thing is she did refund my deposit with no issues and when I couldn’t find anyone today I asked her if she can take me tomorrow which meant me still moving my clients to come back to see her, she told me I would still need to pay a deposit and she can only give me $10 off for gas which felt like an insult that wouldn’t have got me home honestly and the fact I came to my appointment today to get canceled on what make you think I’m comfortable to pay again when I may get canceled on again! I truly wish it would’ve worked out, but it is what it is. I wish her all the best and have found me a great stylist closer to home so I guess there’s that!

Don't forget to mention I wanted to drive all the way to your place to do your hair for you I pleased with my other client and willing to push her to 5pm just to take you at 1pm .I called you several times shot messages you didn't respond.. and when you responded all you asked for was your deposit which I sent back . You went around looking for another braider , couldn't find one and still came back asking if I could take you same day or next day .. and with you requesting your deposit, I had to ask you to send a deposit still because you could wake up in the morning and change your your mind and my schedule will be messed up .. things happen and I wasn't wrong in asking for a deposit.. I know you are pained because you wanted me to do you waist length boho braids for 240 because of the inconvenience which was something I didn't cause.. pest control scheduled to come to my apartment just at the moment you were suppose to be getting your hair braided... And when they left I still called you at past 10am and your appointment was 9am you said you can't make it . I know your biggest problem was the waist length boho you wanted me to do for you at a special price of 250 after offering you 10 off for your gass .. I really don't feed off reviews okay? God handles my Clientele for me so your 1 star ⭐ had nothing to do with my business my clients will always be mine and if they don't come back they were never meant for me. I won't be part of your frustration. Thannk you

My experience wasn’t the best. On my arrival I had no idea where to go. Luckily it was a previous lady that was coming out from getting her hair braid...ed. So I walked up to her to ask her the apt number. Finally got it she asked what did I desire I told her Smedium boho braids she called the owner and asked her questions about what I was getting. The owner said that the boho hair was not included but… that’s what was advertised on Instagram so I had to tell them that. So she said oh yeah that’s a special that I’m running but that’s with medium braids so I agreed. I paid 250 for very short braids the young lady was very nice but this not what I asked for. Never will I support this business again. Very unorganized and false advertisement .

Unfortunately, the customer service was just as disappointing as the outcome of my hair. My original appointment was scheduled for July 4. I reached ...out that morning to ask a question about the hair, and that’s when I was told she wasn’t working that day and that I would need to come the following day. It would have been nice to have been notified before I had to reach out myself. On the day of my rescheduled appointment, I arrived about 10 minutes early. I ended up waiting outside for around 30 minutes because the door was locked. I called and texted multiple times, so she knew I was there, but I didn’t receive a response. Once I was finally let in, we still didn’t begin my appointment until around 3:00 p.m., even though my appointment was scheduled for 12:45 p.m. During my appointment, she spent time on speakerphone having a full conversation, which I felt was unprofessional and took away from the overall experience. The biggest disappointment came after the appointment. Only 8 days later, one of my braids in the back came completely out. Which is unacceptable for a protective style that’s supposed to last several weeks. I take care of my hair, and it’s still looks horrible. The boho hair is matting and coming out in clumps. I’ve had boho plenty of times before and never experienced this much shedding. When I reached out about the issue, I felt dismissed, and no solution or attempt to resolve the problem was offered. Good customer service doesn’t end once payment is made. Communication before, during, and after the appointment is important, and unfortunately, that was the weakest part of my experience. Update: i added pictures. I don’t appreciate being called a liar, as that is not my character at all. What would I gain from pulling my hair out that’s the craziest thing I heard. I am on vacation I don’t want to be walking around crazy so what would be my purpose? I wrap my hair every single day, and take care of it I’ve never experienced this. That god you speak of will deal with you. And to speak of hygiene is crazy with all those smells within your apartment, smells like left out food, no real soap in the bathroom etc.

Firstly I am responsible for everything for now from braiding to messages when a client texts sometimes I read and forget to reply of which I replied when you texted and apologized and also told you the hair was 100% human that’s what I use … you should have posted our conversation here for them to see we actually had a conversation. Also if you were the one on call it would have been okay so why was me being on call a problem to you? I really pray God don’t sent such clients like you my way who are out Lying and trying to bring people down .. you actually pulled out those braids I know your type. I’m not responsible for your hair matting . Improve on your hygiene and take Good care of your hair next time so you don't put the blame on Braiders. Thank you

Kendra was my braider and she did such an amazing job! My appointment was at 7:30am and she started exactly at that time. She was very fast and answer...ed all my questions as I was skeptical because it was a home not a shop which caught me off guard at first. There were refreshments and once inside it was set up like a braiding shop. I am 100% going back and have already told my friends and family. Book the braider Kendra!
