A lash lift typically lasts 6–8 weeks and, in some cases, up to 12 weeks depending on your lash growth cycle. The results remain for the duration of the natural lash cycle, which can be up to 90 days. Keep in mind, if your lashes are mid-growth cycle at the time of the lift, you may need a re-lift sooner. Lash Facts Upper lid lashes are longer, coarser, and more numerous than lower lashes, with 90–160 lashes per eye. Average lash length: 7mm–11mm, arranged in 3–5 rows along the lash line. Natural lashes have a life span of 45–90 days, going through a growth phase (around 30 days), a resting phase, and then shedding before regrowing. Lashes shed naturally every 6–8 weeks, and all lashes are at different stages in their cycle. Common Questions Can I wear mascara after a lash lift? Yes! Wait at least 48 hours before applying regular mascara. For best results, use oil-free formulas. Can I remove lash extensions on the same day as a lash lift? No. You’ll need to book your lash lift for the following day or later. Before Your Appointment Arrive with clean eyes (no makeup or mascara). Remove contact lenses before treatment. Avoid heavy eye creams or lash serums for 24 hours prior. Aftercare Instructions Keep lashes dry for 24–48 hours. No mascara for 48 hours (oil-free recommended afterward). Avoid oil-based or strong makeup removers for 48 hours. Do not sleep on your face or side where lashes rub against your pillow. Avoid oil-based cleansers—they can cause the curl to drop.
