Angela was quick and my medium knotless braids were the perfect size and length. She is also a sweetheart. Thank you and I will be back! Update: Befor...e I got knotless braids done, i booked an appointment to get my son's hair braided and she pushed back the appointment 3 times then canceled at the last minute. I decided to be understanding and went on to book my appointment for my knotless braids giving her a second chance. She did a great job with my hair and told me I could bring my son back when I was ready. I booked another appointment for my son and I woke up to her canceling his appointment again. I tried reaching out to her for hours by call and text and she never responded. Until I text her later asking for a refund since she canceled. I saw message on the app that said she doesnt do appointments at 7pm so she doesnt know why the app allowed me to book it. At least reach out (you have my number). Unresponsive and Unreliable. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because she does braid well, but she's can cancel on you at any moment. Show more

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. This woman is definitely a scam artist, please do not be fooled and lose out on money like I did. How... can I take her to court? Seriously. She owes me my down payment. I never even got the work done even though she rescheduled 3 times within the same day and ultimately stopped responding to me all together. Disgusting. *Addendum post reply from Angela* I was sitting in front of the location I was given at the time I was given. Trying to contact her at the phone number I was given. She did not respond to me at all. I don’t know why any other narrative is even being conceived. Furthermore- if you know your client has driven 2 HOURS to come and see you for their appointment that they’ve already paid a deposit on didn’t show… wouldn’t you want to call them to see what was going on? Or check you phone to see if they txted you, WHICH I did- ALOT And another thing- I have NO proof of any refund whatsoever. More lies, more bullshit. Don’t fall for it. Show more

I have been a client of Angela’s for over 3 years now and I am always 100% satisfied. She does great work and is fast! It is definitely worth the hour... drive i take to get my hair braided. Angela includes a wash and blow dry with the service and that makes it that much more convenient because I can just book my appointment right after work and drive straight there and not have to wash my hair first. She has also braided both my daughters hair, my best friend and my sister over the years! I always receive a lot of compliments after I get my hair braided by Angela. Her place is clean and she makes her clients feel comfortable while they are being serviced. Show more

Usually it’s a amazing experience, came back to Angela multiple times. But this last time it was very unprofessional. Came to her to get goddess braid...s and I got just that. Until the ends started falling out. So I went back for a redo,right after the redo, the ends started coming out again, this time all of them. It wasn’t that fact that the hair was coming out. Never blamed the stylist, it was the professionalism afterwards. I was constantly hitting her up after that and received, minimal response. I couldn’t come back in for another redo and was told I would get partial refund for the part that came out. Never received it, never got a response. Very unprofessional and very disappointing had to take the braids out after just 2 weeks money down the drain. The pictures below are the before and after the ends came out. Professionalism is key when being an Independent stylist and or entrepreneur. Show more
