I’ve visited this barbershop twice, hoping for a decent service, but unfortunately, both experiences were uncomfortable and disappointing. The barbers... tend to speak loudly, creating a noisy and uninviting atmosphere. Even more concerning is the frequent inappropriate conversation: sexual topics, drinking, partying—all discussed openly, even in the presence of children. I went with my son, and I felt genuinely uncomfortable with the adult themes he was exposed to. A workplace should reflect professionalism, especially when children are around. Additionally, the service was incredibly slow. The barbers seemed more focused on chatting with each other than doing their job, which delayed everything. The haircut itself took far longer than necessary due to constant interruptions and lack of concentration. The prices were also quite high considering the poor service. I don’t believe this barbershop offers a family-friendly environment, nor does it meet the standards of professionalism and efficiency. Respect, punctuality, and dedication to the job are essential values for any business. Sadly, this barbershop falls short, and for that reason, I wouldn’t recommend it. Show more
I moved to Northfield one year ago and found CJ's Barbershop pretty quickly, and I'm so glad that I did. It's the only place that I've gotten my hairc...ut each month for the last year. I've been cut by every barber at the shop and they are all excellent! They are all caring, professional, and will spend the time needed to ensure you leave feeling great about your haircut. Grace is excellent and has my cut down, but I would trust any barber at the shop. I highly recommend the shop for the service and the general vibe is great as well! Show more
