Started my locs at Nerua's by Dorca since July 2023 and it's been a very enjoyable journey. All the workers are nice, friendly and aim to please. Yes,... the wait can at times be more than wanted but that's to be expected at most salons on a Saturday...making an appointment helps with that a great deal. Kettia has been doing an excellent job at retwisting and styling my locs, as well as Marie. Overall, always a great experience there and Nerua's one of the kindest and respectful business owner I've encountered. She listens to you, holds her staff accountable when needed and very understanding! Show more

Worst experience ever i sit in tht chair for 5 hours and got a shitty results all workers there seems racist if ur not hatian am half hatian i underst...and they website give a different price than when u get there they over charge me. Twist re locks was 90 dollers at first then they put it up to 150 wow but its cool i leave it to God evil intentions in that place never again Show more

You did request a two strand at the last minute, in which this is something you should ask for at the beginning. We also connected 7 locs for you free of charge, which, again, you didn't ask, and we still did it for you. We take very good care of our clients and show a lot of appreciation regardless of where they are from, im not sure why you called us "racist". Your hair looked neat. You're more than welcome to come back and get a free hair service. You can book with Nerua.

2nd time in a row that I booked with a specific stylist and got passed to another. The first time, a short braided hair style- completed by a stylist ...that has never burnt ends before and I ended up having to reburn my ends by the time I got home. The ends continued to be a problem the whole time i had the style. Second time, silk press- completed with no serum/humidity protectant. It came out fine but I specially booked with one person in the app and got another stylist upon arrival. Show more

Style was suppose to be short bob shaped goddess box braids for my birthday. Didn’t come out like I wanted unfortunately, but I will make it work. One... side is shorter than the other. Charged $280. First photo is what I got. 2nd photo is what I wanted. Had I known it would have been almost $300 still, i would have decided to get them waist length for the price. ***Updating my review from 2 stars to 4 as the owner did reach out to express her understanding of my frustrations with my hair.
