If you have type 4 hair and not looking to straighten your hair/keep your curls. Do not go to her. Nice lady, but I was only going for a wash, deep co...nditioner and trim and pretty sure she put a little relaxer in my hair as she was suggesting to put some in my hair because it was too thick. I declined and still felt tingling in my scalp as she was washing it, but was told it was mint in the shampoo/ conditioner. My hair texture has not been the same since I been to her Show more

Upon first meeting Linda for an initial consultation, her manner immediately put me at ease; and any apprehensions I may have had were quickly eliminated! She patiently listened to my concerns; answered all my questions; and took the time to fully explain the services she provided. She also gave me a list of websites to research the many product options that were available: thereby facilitating my decision-making process. I was so impressed by Linda’s warm personality, level of knowledge, and expertise; to the point where I felt confident about placing my hair in her very capable hands; and the consultation ended with me scheduling an appointment with her on the spot. There are lots of stylist in the NYC/Long Island area, but not many who actually specialize in hair care. That’s first and foremost with Linda. She ca...res for the health of your hair. I had a lot of damage from over processing, from sew-ins that put stress on my strands, and from braiding done much too tightly. I wore all those styles for years because I was uncomfortable with my natural hair. Linda worked diligently to restore health to my natural hair. I have been treated by my hair stylist Linda for the past year now and she has been great with my hair. She educates me more and more about my hair a...nd teaches me things i never knew. The hair stylists in the past i have had would just wash my hair take my money and never educated me. I have learned alot about my hair with Linda since she has been taking care of my hair. Any question you have about your hair whether it is growth, breakage, treatment, hair loss etc she will give you the the upmost honest answer and thats what I love about her because there is alot of hair stylists out there who cannot answer 1 question about hair!!I have definitely seen a difference in my hair and I would recommend anyone to go there.
