1st time visiting and what a Great experience. Was greeted by Rick and didn't have a wait time to see my scheduled person, Ang. She was diligent, abou...t what I wanted and what she could do for me and in the end I was very relaxed. Needless to say, I'll be seeing Ang, for my future haircuts. She took into consideration that I was in a wheelchair and made sure that I was comfortable being in her chair. She treated me with dignity and respect and made me feel like a 'regular' person there. Which was so relaxing for me. Thank you Ang, you Made My Day! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏼👍🏼 So, everyone, stop in at The Barbershop, you WILL NOT be disappointed! Well done everyone! Oh, did I mention how clean they keep the place. Also, they wash your hair right at their own 'haircut station', so you don't have to go from one chair to another, and you get a nice warm cloth over your eyes, to relax you, while you're getting a shampoo. It's all included in the price. There's lots of parking and they do 'walk-ins', but it's still good to make an appointment. I, tell you, I've definitely found a Gem of a place. Five Stars! Rick is absolutely amazing! Nearly two years ago, he gave my dad a flat top haircut while he was visiting, and my dad never forgot how gr...eat the experience was. So when we came back into town recently, my dad was set on seeing Rick again—no one else would do. We stopped by on a Friday, and even with short notice, Rick made himself available just a couple of hours later. That kind of flexibility and dedication is rare these days. The haircut? I go here regularly and everybody cares about giving a great hair cut except Rick. He processes you like a McDonald's drive through order and you can ...tell he doesn't want to be there. He'll have you in and out in 5 minutes. His shampoo is a total 15 sec with one lathered rub of your hair. And never offers the shoulder massage. I didn't even know that was a thing until I picked someone else one day. He is great if you are feeling really good one day and want to be humbled by complete lack of care. Show more
