I've been getting my hair cut by Alex (proprietor) for 14 years. I've strayed from his shears 3 or 4 times, but always come back because it's the high...est quality cut in town. My friends get their hair cut here. My dad drives from Dripping Springs to get his hair cut here. They offer something of quality here that is distinctly different from other shops in town. Alex used to work at Avenue on S Congress until he opened this shop. His shop is a place to slow down, listen to some good music, and take a break from the fast-paced world and take care of yourself a little bit and get a good cut at a decent price. Not only is it METICULOUS, EXACT and PROFESSIONAL cut, the barbers are not fussy - and make you feel at ease. It's also a local veteran-owned business. It's really a connection to an older time. A true, proper barbershop that takes you back in time with a classic nostalgic feel. Solid veteran barber crew who know all styles, not a training gr...ound like other shops nearby. The vibe is super chill with a clean vintage aesthetic and great tunes. They have their own large parking lot right out front with easy access off of E. 7th St. and is next door to some of the best bars and restaurants in Austin. You can book online or over the phone and they even accept walk-ins for day of haircuts. Check them out to keep you and your hair looking its finest! Show more
