I came to a consultation and afterwards booked with stylist just to be told they can’t take me on the next day with no explanation….. What happened to... the old stylist who just booked clients with no extra charges for someone to just look at your hair and literally do everything besides consult. Show more

I was told I needed to come in for a consultation when I was only getting my tips colored, a waste of $50 on uber just for him to tell me “oh I though...t you were getting your roots done” and STILL charge me for the consultation. Then my hair apt the next day is at 430, he starts my head by 520 and finishes it by 930pm … FIVE hours for my tips (mind you he missed some) and a regular (ain’t use no real products so it didn’t hold past a day) retwist .. he charged me $200 for some bullshit honestly and worked my nerves the entire time moving extremely slow, changing the station every time a jill scott song ended and TEXTING while I been sitting there for 5 hours. He moves like a slug, is very unprofessional and his shop is dirty as hell. I’ll not be coming back to this dude, my experience was so bad it felt like a scam Show more

This was my 3rd time visiting Justin. I am very pleased with the HoustonLocSpa. It truly lives up to the name and gives you that Spa experience. Altho...ugh I was saddened that my color came out rather quickly from my previous appointment, I still enjoyed the over care that was given to me. I always enjoy the entire service but my favorite is the lay down chair at the shampoo bowl with the weighted blanket and receiving the steam treatment. I fall asleep every time! The calming music gives you the extra relaxation that you need throughout your service. Justin is patient, kind, experienced, and truly a gentlemen. It was dark leaving my appointment and he offered to walk me out to my car so I will be safe. I highly recommend Justin! Not only does he care about your hair but it truly cares about his clients overall! Show more

I see why he has “Spa” listed in his title I really got the true spa experience with... weighed blanket, lay down chair at the shampoo bowl, zen music and the oil used within the steamer, bae I was sleep (that has never happened).
