My Acrylic Fill service description clearly states, in ALL CAPS, that first-time clients with existing acrylic from another salon must book a Foreign Soak Off. This policy is in place to protect the health of your natural nails and for liability reasons, as I do not apply product over another technician's work when I cannot verify the products or application underneath. Before beginning your service, I explained why a soak-off was necessary, and you told me you understood and agreed to proceed. Regarding the wait, I was completing my previous appointment and thoroughly disinfecting my workstation and tools before seating you, which is part of my sanitation standards. Your total reflected all services performed, including the soak-off, new gel full set, gel pedicure, and acrylic on both big toes. An itemized receipt was sent after your appointment, and all pricing is listed on my website and displayed before an appointment is confirmed. I strive to be transparent with my policies, pricing, and communication so there are no surprises. While I'm sorry your experience did not meet your expectations, I stand by my policies, which are in place to provide safe, consistent service for every client. I wish you all the best.
