Pros: The shop is clean. Location was easy to find. The stylist is really nice. The price was right ($125 for a wash, retwist, 2 strand style). Cons:... She had to push our appt back by an hr and a half which was communicated to us 1hr before the appointment time and we were already en route from Melissa. My son stated that she has “heavy hands” and his “head never hurt so bad” during an appointment. The two strands themselves were twisted nicely however they were uneven and basically standing on top of his head when I returned. My boy went from shoulder length locs to a mid cheek bob 😩. I was hoping she was going to manipulate the hair to make the locs stay down or tie them down and put him back under the dryer but she didn’t. Once we got home the hair required manipulation . We tied the 2 strands down with a durag and re-rubberbanded the ends (to give him more length). With this method, the two strands looked really nice. His head still hurt day 2 of retwist. With all that said, I have seen her work on my sister so I know she is a good Loctician, maybe we got her on an off day. Show more

As stated in my original message that was sent to you at 11:38 and your original appointment was at 5 pm. I apologized for the inconvenience due to me falling ill, as I am human. Yes, I was unable to correspond all day because I was under the weather. To be then asked to do a free service is ridiculous. If you miss work would you go back and work a day for free? I apologize that I wasn't able to complete your service. I wish you luck to your new stylist and Thanks in advance.
