Started out by waiting for the two hairdressers to go outside and smoke a cigarette - and then come back in and not wash their hands before leading me... over to wash my hair. I should have left then - did not feel welcome or wanted there. Also, should be advertised that their English is not spoke or understood. I asked for a straight trim and ended up with about 3 inches off and layers all over. Needless to say, will not be returning. Show more

My boyfriend needed a last minute hair cut due to an interview being scheduled with very short notice, and I was able to book him an appointment the d...ay of. His usual barber shop was not open because of MLK Day, so we were glad to see that Emily & Friends was open. He was very satisfied with his haircut! I don’t think QingYang was the one who did the haircut, even though the app says he would be the one doing it, but regardless, the service was great! We chose to get the haircut with anyone of the staff when we booked so I’m assuming that means first available, regardless of who the app assigns to us (: Show more

I chose Emily for my haircut and did not like my experience at all. First of all, I don't like the result. Her skill was not what I expected as an own...er. Secondly, her focus was not on her work at all. During my hair cut, she was chatting with someone all the time. My neck was scratched by her long nails twice. Last, it was only 15-20 minute haircut, not worthy for that price. Very disappointed. Show more

Emily has superior and consistent skills. I couldn’t believe how nice the haircut I have now. My hair is heavy, mildly curly and hard to manage. Those... seems nothing to her. I just told her what style I want and she totally met my expectations and beyond, everytime. The staffs are friendly. The billing system is no pressure.
