I visited VC Esthetics and redeemed a Groupon. From the start, they treated me like a full-paying customer and truly took the time to listen to my nee...ds. They took before-and-after photos, and the cosmetic nurse, Shafaq, was outstanding. This was my second visit with Shafaq, and her knowledge, professionalism, and precision are top notch. I’m definitely a return customer and highly recommend VC Esthetics!

I scheduled an appointment for lip filler and called three separate times in advance to confirm that this office performs dental nerve blocks. Each ti...me I was told yes. My final call the staff member even said, “I remember you, yes we do the blocks.” When I arrived, the front door was locked. After waiting, a staff member opened it without greeting and walked away, which felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Inside, I was told to complete paperwork I had already submitted. When I asked for clarification on questions that should be evaluated by a provider, such as facial asymmetry, I was told they were “questions for me,” which is not appropriate in a medical setting. I also explained that I have a history of vasovagal response to pain. This was met with blank, dismissive stares, which was concerning. When I brought up the dental block I had confirmed multiple times prior to my appointment, the staff appeared unfamiliar and responded dismissively. There was no effort to clarify, offer alternatives, or make me feel comfortable. At no point did I interact with an actual provider, only two staff members, which added to my lack of confidence. Between the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and overall experience, I chose to leave without receiving treatment. Based on the injector’s own lip results, which were not subtle, I wasn’t confident in the aesthetic approach of the practice. **UPDATE** After posting my original review above, the owner of VC Esthetics personally called me and explained that they do have a nurse who performs dental blocks and could accommodate me if I returned. I removed my review on my own because I understand the impact negative reviews can have on a small business. I genuinely wanted to give them another chance. I waited over a month for that nurse, took additional time off work, and returned hoping for a better experience. When I arrived, the front door was propped open with a cinder block…. and I was again asked to complete paperwork I had already filled out multiple times. The nurse briefly approached me without introducing herself and said she needed to finish with another patient first. I was understanding because delays happen. After waiting, I was taken to a treatment room where the nurse came in did not look me in the eyes to address me, but instead fumbled through cabinets and I couldn’t understand what she was saying. As more time passed, the front desk person apologized and assured me the nurse would be with me shortly. By 2:00 PM, an hour after my scheduled 1:00 PM appointment, I was told the nurse was still with another patient and also needed to make a phone call before seeing me. At that point, I left. What made this especially disappointing was that I had already had a negative first experience, removed my review in good faith, waited over a month for this appointment, and taken additional time off work to return. I was specifically there because I required a dental block, which itself takes time to become effective. At no point did anyone attempt to begin that process or communicate a clear plan while I sat waiting. It wasn’t until after I left that the nurse felt it was important to speak with me directly. She explained that they prefer to take their time with each patient to ensure good results. At that point, it felt less like patient care and more like damage control. Taking time with patients is understandable and appreciated. The issue is scheduling appropriately, communicating clearly, and respecting every patient’s time. This was not one isolated misunderstanding. It was multiple experiences involving poor communication, disorganization, lack of professionalism, and disregard for my time as a patient and person. I genuinely wanted the second experience to go differently, but unfortunately it did not. For that reason, I would not return to VC Esthetics, and I would not recommend the practice to anyone.

I cannot say enough nice things about V.C MedSpa and its staff. From the moment you step inside the staff are engaging, caring and kind. They are also... very knowledgable and work ‘ by the book’, zero short cuts taken. I’ve worked at and also been a client at several MedSpas ,and I have to say, without any doubt that Shauna is the best injector that I have ever seen. She is the sweetest, she takes her time in explaining everything, and her injection technique is great. Very little pain, skilled placement and sculpting and she checks in with you the whole time . I love the contouring that she’s done on my face and I will definitely be returning to see her.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is always so friendly, welcoming, and professional—they make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.... The treatments are quick, efficient, and you can really tell they know what they’re doing. I’ve seen great results and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend to anyone considering laser hair removal!
