I'm saddened by this review because it leaves out important details of what actually happened. From the beginning, I explained that the style you wanted would ideally require human hair. You told me that human hair was outside of your budget. In an effort to accommodate you, I offered an alternative using my technique with Expression hair, and you agreed to proceed. After the service was completed, you said you didn't like the type of hair used and stated that you didn't know what Expression hair meant. You became upset and started crying in my home. I apologized that the style did not meet your expectations, even though I had used the agreed-upon alternative. I also explained that I had another client scheduled because I was booked back-to-back that day. Despite that, I still tried to work with you by offering a discount on a future appointment and letting you know we could schedule another day to make adjustments. The service itself was completed, and I spent over six hours on your hair. Many clients come to my home studio and leave happy and satisfied with their services. Working from home does not determine the quality of my work. Regarding licensing, Minnesota does not require a cosmetology license solely for natural hair braiding services. I take pride in my craft and have spent countless hours perfecting my techniques. It's okay if a hairstyle doesn't meet someone's personal preference, but it's important that the full story is told, including the discussions.
