Akili was such a delight! I originally booked her Protective Style Prep service and was planning to have my sister install a u-part unit but Akili sai...d she’d happily add on that service for me. She washed and deep conditioned my hair, gave me a good trim, and braided my hair into a beehive with the tiniest bit of leave out. The braids are secure but not tight. It’s the perfect foundation for my u-part install, which she sewed down perfectly…again, secure but not too tight and no pulling. The final look is so cute…it’s exactly what I wanted. It was an overall excellent experience and we’ve already talked about what we’re going to do at my next appointment!
