I am writing this review from my car, in the parking lot, looking up at the building I just walked out of. I’m too upset to even drive off yet. That’s... how bad this experience was. This was my first time ever visiting this shop, and it will absolutely be my last. From the moment I sat down in the chair, I watched Kendell and her assistant openly gossip about her own paying clients — first a longtime client of hers, then another woman who had barely made it out the door before they started in on her. I sat there stunned, thinking: if this is what they do to clients they’ve known for years, what chance does a new client have? I found out firsthand. When my hair was finished, I left and stepped into the bathroom, then realized I thought I’d left my phone inside. When I walked back in, they were talking about ME loudly, saying genuinely ugly things. This was just 1 hour after her assistant hugged me and giving me words of encouragement and acting like we were old friends. That hug is what gets me the most. The warmth in this shop is a performance. The second your back is turned, you become the entertainment. I was a brand new client, first visit, money spent and this is what I got. And it wasn’t just me. Two more clients were still sitting in there when I left, and based on everything I witnessed in one single appointment, they’re next. This is a pattern in this shop, not a bad day. If you’re considering patronizing this business, please just know what you’re walking intoit may look warm and welcoming, but that is not what it is when you can’t hear them. You deserve to spend your money somewhere that respects you both to your face and behind your back. I left with my hair done and my dignity insulted. No style is worth that.

The statements made in this review do not reflect what occurred during your visit. Neither my assistant nor I discussed you or any of our clients in the manner you described. Our salon serves many guests throughout the day, and maintaining a respectful and professional environment is something I have built my business on for over two decades. Prior to your appointment, my assistant explained our consultation policy and advised that consultations and appointments are scheduled separately for first-time guests. Despite that conversation, you chose to book both on the same day. Throughout your visit, there were several interactions that led me to believe we were simply not the right fit, and unfortunately, our experience of the appointment was very different. While I regret that you left feeling disappointed, I cannot agree with the allegations made in this review. I will continue to uphold the standards, policies, and professionalism that have allowed me to serve my clients successfully for many years. I genuinely wish you the best and hope you find a salon that better aligns with your expectations.
